Traumatic closed-funnel retinal detachment associated with pseudophacocele

An 85-year-old man presented with severe vision loss in his left eye following blunt ocular trauma.The BCVA in the injured eye was light perception. On slit lamp examination, we suspected the IOL might had migrated to the sub-Tenon space. The patient underwent immediate repair with pars plana vitrectomy, membranectomy, 360° retinectomy, endolaser under perfluorcarbon liquid and silicone oil tamponade. One month after the surgery, the BCVA of the patient was 20/80 (SE of +6,00).
