Abstracts

42 yo female with high myopia, with vision loss for 4 weeks and a chronic macula involving inferotemporal RRD in the right eye. We proceed with a primary scleral buckle. A 360o conjunctival peritomy was performed and the rectus muscles isolated. The buckling material placed beneath scleral flaps after lamellar scleral dissection. External drainage of subretinal fluid performed. The periphery was inspected under the microscope with the chandelier. After 4 months of follow-up, retina was attached
