Introdução / Purpose
The primary objective of this study is to determine Ease of delivery for the surgeon, reasons to like or dislike and review of complications after performing intravitreal injections with the 4mm 32 G needle in Adults.
Material e Método / Methods
Survey for intravitreal injections with 32G 4mm neddle after 15 INJECTIONS per specialist (4 retina specialists + 1 retina fellow)
1) do you like it better than the standard 30G 1/2 inch needle - yes or no, why
2) do you appreciate the ability to measure more accurately 4mm behind the limbus? - yes or no
3) Would you consider switch to this needle? yes or no , why
4) complications: any
(vitreous reflux, post injection IOP, endophthalmitis, transient
vision loss)
5) Does the cost matter to you?

Resultados / Results
All the specialits considered the 32G 4mm needle for intravitreal injections in adults a good option, with no complications. Useful for measuring 4mm behind limbus and they considered switching to this needle when compared to the 30G 1/2 inch needle.

The 32G 4mm needle is a good option for intravitreal injections in adults.
