Submacular intraocular lens after blunt ocular trauma - A complication of postponing vitreoretinal surgery
Abstracts
We present a case of a 62 years old male that showed a traumatic displacement of the intraocular lens-capsular bag complex (IOL-BAG) after blunt ocular trauma in the right eye and, after postponing treatment for over 6 months, presented with a giant retinal tear, retinal and choroidal detachment, and submacular IOL-BAG.
